If you are in need

A community pantry is a cupboard stocked with non-perishable food items that community members can help themselves to if they are experiencing food insecurity.

Panton Hill Living & Learning Hub has a community pantry. Community members in need are welcome to come and take what they’d like from the pantry.

The community pantry is regularly stocked thanks to Diamond Valley Community Support and the Food Collective Project.

Fresh vegetables and herbs are sometimes available too, depending on what is harvested by the Panton Hill Living & Learning Community Garden group. (The garden group generally meet on Fridays.)

Accessing the Panton Hill community food pantry

  • Panton Hill Living & Learning Hub is located at 18 Bishops Road Panton Hill.

  • The pantry cupboard is located outside on the veranda (to the left of the front door) so it can be accessed any day of the week or time of day.

Please help yourself to what you need.

  • If you would like to speak to someone from the Living & Learning Nillumbik team when accessing the pantry, please visit during our opening hours and feel free to come in and say hello at reception. Panton Hill opening hours can be found here

  • The pantry also holds flyers with information about Diamond Valley Community Support.
