Our committee
Are you looking for an opportunity to use your skills, knowledge and expertise to make a difference in your community?
The Living & Learning Nillumbik Committee invites you to be a part of a diverse team that helps strengthen the community and contributes to education, social justice and connectedness.
The Committee plays a key role in developing our strategic and business plans and policies and provides advice to Council.
To be eligible, you need to:
- be 18 years or older
- have an interest in adult community education and community development, and
- live, work or provide services in Nillumbik or have a community connection to the Shire.
If you are a current or former Living & Learning Nillumbik student or volunteer or a former staff member, you are also welcome to apply.
If you have experience in community development, marketing, education, event management or business, the Committee would particularly like to hear from you.
Meetings are held monthly at one of the three centres.
