Nature illustration introduction (Eltham)

This short course is the pathway into our 'Nature Illustration' classes at Eltham and Diamond Creek.

It is designed to give you the skills you need to accurately depict natural subjects through drawing.

Whether you are a complete beginner or someone who has some past experience with drawing, these structured drawing classes will step you through the process of sketching, creating shape using shading, recognising colours and creating texture and detail in a drawing.

Work through a series of small drawings as a class, with practical demonstrations by your tutor and guidance as you develop your own skills in drawing. Using graphite and then coloured pencil, you will be amazed at how much you can achieve if you are willing to let yourself try!

Subjects may include plants, birds, insects, fungi or other things we discover as we learn together.

Term 2 booking opens 9am Monday 24 March

Activities start from 28 April. (Please note this is one week later than the Victorian school term.)
