Eltham Living & Learning hub

Our Neighbourhood House programs run in line with the Victorian school term dates. However, this may vary due to tutor availability or group preference. You can find activity-specific information on our course pages.

Please note dates are subject to change. Activity information will generally be published on our website one week prior to bookings opening, where possible.

All dates were correct at the time of publication. Living & Learning Nillumbik reserves the right to change information.

December 2026 – January 2027 site closures

Our Living & Learning Hubs will be closed over the holiday period.

Reception phone and email:

  • closes Friday 18 December 2026, 3pm
  • reopens Tuesday 5 January 2027, 9am.

Diamond Creek Living & Learning Hub:

  • closes Friday 18 December 2026, 3pm
  • reopens Tuesday 5 January 2027, 9am (to be confirmed).

Eltham Living & Learning Hub:

  • closes Friday 18 December 2026, 3pm
  • reopens Tuesday 5 January 2027, 9am (to be confirmed).

Panton Hill Living & Learning Hub:

  • closes Friday 18 December 2026, 3pm
  • reopens Monday 18 January 2027, 9am.

Many activities are available to book at any time if spaces are available. Some activities are year-long, such as MakerSpaces.

We also offer a range of free or low-cost workshops and activities throughout the year, including during Neighbourhood House Week in May and the Seniors Festival in October. To stay up to date with new activities, sign up to our eNews.

School holiday activities

These will be published approximately four weeks before school holidays start, and will be available to book immediately. Please note that Living & Learning Nillumbik school holiday activities do not run over the December/January break.

Please also note:

  • If a listed activity says 'bookings closed' please check the enrolment dates for your next opportunity to book.
  • When a course or activity has started, online enrolment closes. However, in some cases there may still be spaces available. Check the course description or contact us on 9433 3744 for information.
  • While we always do our best not to cancel activities, in some cases if we don’t get enough enrolments we may need to cancel.  To ensure our courses are sustainable and our tutors have time to prepare, our Program Coordinators regularly assess bookings prior to the scheduled start date to ensure minimum numbers are reached. 

To avoid disappointment, we encourage you to book early.
