The Be Connected program helps older people to navigate the online world.

Living & Learning Nillumbik are currently seeking volunteer mentors who can provide one-on-one technology support to older people as part of the Be Connected training program.

This volunteer role focuses on encouraging participants to be connected online, build their basic technology skills and knowledge, and assist them to problem solve in using their digital devices.

This is a great chance to gain practical experience and make a positive difference in your local community.

Volunteers can nominate their preferred location:

  • Living & Learning Nillumbik’s three Neighbourhood Houses: Panton Hill, Eltham or Diamond Creek
  • Hurstbridge Community Hub
  • Wadambuk St Andrew’s Community Centre.

Becoming a digital mentor for the Be Connected program includes induction and training, with specific task training provided.
