Do you love to make things? Do you love to knit, crochet or sew? Perhaps you love to make patchwork quilts?

The Crafty Cats MakerSpace group have been meeting regularly at Panton Hill for years, coming together to share, learn, connect and create amazing craft pieces.

This year for Neighbourhood House Week the Crafty Cats are running a market stall (take a look at that here), and are having a special come-and-try session to welcome new members who’d like to find out what MakerSpaces are all about.

How to get involved

All are welcome!

No need to book ahead, just turn up on the day. Bring along your project ideas and any tools and materials. (Irons, boards, cutting mats and rulers are supplied.)

This activity is part of Neighbourhood House Week.

About Neighbourhood House Week

Neighbourhood House Week is an annual national celebration recognising the important contribution Neighbourhood Houses make in local communities across Australia.

This year it will run from 13 – 19 May, and we will be celebrating with activities such as special workshops, guest speakers and free activities.

Did you know? There are over 1,000 Neighbourhood Houses across Australia, and more than 400 of them are in Victoria.

Neighbourhood Houses are also called Neighbourhood Centres, Community Houses, Living & Learning Centres, Community Hubs and more.

For more information visit our Neighbourhood House Week page.
