Craft for a cause

A fun day (and night) of demonstrations, craft and show-and-tell. Bring your own project and have some uninterrupted ‘you’ time. 

Felting

A step-by-step process that will produce a beautiful, unique merino wool scarf to keep you cosy this winter.

Knitting and Crochet

Learn how to knit and crochet from the beginning or develop your skills for pattern reading and making a variety of stitches.  Understand how the stitches work and how to fix mistakes.

Made on the Hill - MOTH

Made on the Hill is part of the Panton Hill 'On the Hill' Festival.  It is a celebration and exhibition of locally made creations.  This year's festival in on Sunday 28 October.  Those who live, work and play in Panton Hill and surrounds are encouraged to enter and attend.

Be Connected is a program funded by the government through the the Good Things Foundation. The centre computers and our volunteer tutors provide a friendly environment where you can come and learn basic computer and internet skills to explore information on the world wide web and how to stay in touch with family and friends online.

The 'Be Connected' lounge at the Panton Hill Centre is open for anyone who would like to come and use our large screen computers Monday - Thursday mornings from 9am-1pm

Bear making

A hands on introduction to bear making.  Learn how to stuff, hand sew and create a face on your very own bear with moveable limbs.

Cooking - pasta making

Learn how to make fresh, melt in your mouth pasta from scratch. It's easier than you think and lots of fun too.

Didgeridoo

Is circular breathing really possible? Learn about aboriginal culture and context while learning to play this interesting instrument.

3D paper craft

Make decorative boxes, mini bird houses, lanterns and more all using easy origami and paper crafting techniques.
