A fun 'mythical creatures' themed school holiday class to introduce children to creating with clay. This session is for 8-12 year olds and runs at 11:30am. (An alternative session is also scheduled for 2pm.)
Make something fun and creative these school holidays - your own handcrafted monster or mythical creature. Your teacher, Debora will begin with a skills demonstration. You will then experiment with coils and learn some basic techniques to create your creature. These will be glazed inside and out with a simple white glaze.
Pieces will then be fired in the kiln and will be ready for collection approximately three weeks after the school holidays.
