Thanks for your feedback!

Thank you message

Thank you to everyone who provided feedback as part of our recent engagement process.

This engagement was undertaken to learn more about the activities you would like to see at our Living & Learning hubs. It also provided an opportunity for general feedback about Living & Learning Nillumbik.

Feedback was received via drop-in sessions, pop up events, and surveys (both online and in print).

Many people reflected how much they value the activities they participate in at our Living & Learning hubs. Others were keen to learn more about what is on offer.

Activity suggestions were wide-ranging, but could be broadly mapped into the following key themes:

  • Life skills (examples included cooking, DIY/maintenance skills)
  • Movement and wellbeing (examples included yoga, qi gong, tai chi, meditation, dance)
  • Low-cost social connection opportunities, not necessarily skill or activity based (examples included coffee and chat groups, sausage sizzles)
  • Children and family activities (examples included whole family or intergenerational activities)
  • Art and craft (examples included painting, sketching, mandala creation, calligraphy, collage, mosaics, pottery).

Other suggestions included languages, music and games, together with opportunities to strengthen enrolment processes.

Next steps

These suggestions will be incorporated into activity planning and process improvements through 2026 and beyond.

Thank you to those who took the time to provide feedback.
