This course provides you with the knowledge and training to provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on adults and children when they are ill or injured.

You will learn how to manage a cardiac arrest, do CPR at the correct rate, and use an Automated External Defibrillator.

Students who successfully complete both the theoretical and practical assessment components of this training will be awarded the statement of attainment for HLTAID009 - Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

This course is the Provide cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) HLTAID009, delivered and assessed by 1SDO Training RTO No 41558. Nillumbik Shire Council is approved to provide training and promotion services under a third-party arrangement with the RTO. Successful completion leads to a nationally recognised qualification issued by the RTO.
