Sewing and repurposing Makerspace

Sewing & Repurposing Makerspace - Eltham.jpg

Do you have beloved clothes that need growing or shrinking? Visible mending? Patching? Lengthening or shortening?

This MakerSpace is for those who love to upcycle, repurpose, mend clothes or create their own clothes.

Join a group of sewers working on projects such as transforming op shop purchases, re-covering cushions, or turning old sheets and jeans into wildlife pouches or bags.

Bring your sewing basket or your sewing machine, and browse through our pattern library for inspiration. Share your skills and ideas and learn new ones. Make new friends, have a cuppa and relax for the afternoon.

About MakerSpaces

Makerspaces are creative social spaces where people share their passion for their art or craft and learn from each other. They are coordinated by volunteers.

Join a group for a low annual fee and then come along to as many of their sessions as you'd like across the year.

If you have an idea for a MakerSpace, or if the group you are interested in is fully booked, why not propose a new group? Contact us to discuss your ideas.
