Leadlight co-operative (Tuesday)

Leadlight and glass arts - Eltham.jpg

Learn the beautiful art of leadlighting and working with glass in a shared learning environment. This course is open to people aged 18 years and over.

Join our Leadlighting Cooperative and bring your creative vision to life!

Whether you’re a beginner eager to explore leadlighting or an experienced artist with a project in mind, our cooperative studio offers a supportive and collaborative environment to help you achieve your goals.

New members start with a guided kit project to learn the essentials of leadlighting, after which you’ll have the freedom to develop your own designs. Our experienced volunteer tutors, along with fellow members, are here to offer guidance and feedback in our relaxed, creative space.

In our co-op, you will:

  • Learn to confidently cut glass, even in challenging shapes
  • Lead up, putty, and finish your project to a professional standard
  • Accurately measure and plan for window designs
  • Collaborate on designing and building custom projects
  • Explore additional techniques like copper foiling and glass mosaics

For full details visit our booking page.

As this is a Co-operative which operates in a shared space please expect to spend at least 15 minutes to clean and tidy the studio after the session.

Term 2 booking opens 9am Monday 24 March

Activities start from 28 April. (Please note this is one week later than the Victorian school term.)
