Sewing basics MakerSpace

Do you have a sewing machine sitting at home that you’d love to get more use out of? Bring it along to our Sewing Basics Makerspace and enjoy a session of sewing in a friendly, social setting.

Work on your own simple projects or browse our pattern library. If you get stuck, there’s always someone nearby who can point you in the right direction. Share your skills, swap ideas, and pick up new tips from others in the group.

Make new friends, have a cuppa, and relax as you sew away.

About MakerSpaces

Makerspaces are creative social spaces where people share their passion for their art or craft and learn from each other. They are coordinated by volunteers.

Join a group for a low annual fee and then come along to as many of their sessions as you'd like across the year.
