Lunch and learn with Ageing Well
Thursday 22 October, 1–3pm
Panton Hill Living & Learning Hub
Free
As part of Seniors Festival 2026, Panton Hill Living & Learning Hub and the Ageing Well team invite you to join us for a free lunch and informative aged care information session designed to help older people, carers, and families better understand the aged care system.
Navigating aged care can often feel overwhelming. Our experienced Ageing Well team will break down complex information into clear, practical guidance, helping you understand what supports are available, how to access them, and where to go for trusted advice. There will also be plenty of opportunity to ask questions in a relaxed, welcoming, and supportive environment.
Find out more about:
- government-subsidised aged care supports and services
- support to access services
- advocacy and service linkage
- Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP)
- Support at Home Program.
Whether you're planning ahead, currently seeking support, or helping a loved one navigate the system, this session will provide valuable information about in-home services, community programs, and other supports that can help older people maintain their independence, wellbeing, and safety while continuing to live at home.
Come along, enjoy a delicious free lunch, connect with others in your community, and take the opportunity to learn more about the services and supports available to you and your family.
This activity will be held at the Panton Hill Living & Learning Hub, 18 Bishops Road, Panton Hill. This activity is open for ages 18 years and over.
