A chance for local carers to share, connect and create during Carers Week.

Are you an unpaid carer?

Perhaps you support a partner, parent, child, sibling, friend or neighbour who needs assistance due to disability, illness, mental health challenges, ageing or other circumstances.

As part of Carers Week (11–17 October), join us for a welcoming morning of creativity, connection and conversation at the Diamond Creek Living & Learning Hub.

We'll begin with The joy of colour, a relaxing watercolour session where you'll have the opportunity to slow down, explore colour and enjoy some creative time for yourself. No experience is necessary, and all materials will be provided.

Following the session, join our free morning tea with other local carers in a friendly and supportive environment. This is an opportunity to share experiences, meet others in caring roles, or simply enjoy a cuppa and some conversation.

Council's Disability Inclusion Officer will be available to chat about information and resources, and hear about what's important to carers in our community.

All carers are welcome. Our Living & Learning hubs are proud to be registered Carer Friendly Places.

Watercolour session: 10.00am - 11.30am (free; registration required)
Community morning tea: 11.30am - 12.30pm (free; drop-ins very welcome)
