Fridays, 9.30am–12pm Eltham Living & Learning Hub
Through eight weekly sessions, we will build on your existing wheel‑throwing skills as we create a range of pottery pieces on the wheel.
We’ll begin with refining centering techniques, then move on to throwing cylinders before progressing to bowl or cup forms. You will then learn how to finish your pieces through trimming and decorating, using a variety of decorative techniques and underglazes.
Three to four weeks after the course is complete, you will be able to collect your finished, fired pieces from the studio to take home and use.
This course is designed for participants who have some prior wheel-throwing experience.
Each class will have a maximum of 8 students.
The cost of this course includes clay, use of wheel and tools, firing, and all materials for decorating and glazing.
