The Premier has announced an easing of restrictions as of 11.59pm Tuesday 27 July. This means we will be able to reopen all three centres located in Eltham, Diamond Creek and Panton Hill from Wednesday 28 July 2021 for our Neighbourhood House activities.

All classes will be capped at a maximum of 10 participants in line with the current restrictions. Neighbourhood House Coordinators will work with current groups to offer alternative arrangements to accommodate larger groups where possible i.e. offering a class two sessions of less than 10 participants.

Where classes have been cancelled due to State Government restrictions, participants will be able to request a refund or credit note to be used in future enrolments.

As we go back to the centres, a reminder that to keep everyone safe, all participants and visitors are required to:

  • wear a mask
  • check-in using the QR code
    • in the event that an individual does not have an electronic device, another person with the application can enter their details on their behalf.
  • please listen to COVID marshals (usually the tutor or coordinator of a group) instructions regarding masks and checking in
  • follow signage in relation to maximum room capacity (this is now 1 person per 4m2).
  • at Eltham the kitchen is available for exclusive access to nominated representatives from groups and staff only.
  • use of microwaves, toasters, sinks, zip taps and the fridge is available to nominated representatives from a group and staff only. Alcohol wipes are available for users to wipe any touchpoints after use.
  • coffee, tea and milk will be supplied.
  • staff/site users will bring their own cutlery and crockery and will take these with them, no storage is available in the kitchen area.
  • no sharing of food. Individually wrapped food can be offered. One representative from a group can serve food
  • assist the tutor with touchpoint cleaning after your class. Each class will use the disinfectant provided to wipe desks and classroom touchpoints to leave a clean work space for the next group.
  • phone 9433 3744 if you need to speak with customer support staff.

Please ask staff or volunteers if you need clarification about anything.

Best wishes
