CHC33015 Cert III in Individual Support (Ageing, Home and Community)
Living & Learning Nillumbik is offering the new qualification for the Aged Care and Home and Community Care industries - the Certificate III in Individual Support.
Once completed, you will be qualified to work in both industry areas, thereby offering you maximum flexibility in terms of employment options.
We work closely with the Aged Care and Home and Community Care industries to ensure maximum practical hands-on experience during the course. This experience, called 'Practical Placement', can also be an effective pathway into employment – over 95% of our students are offered employment before completing the course.
Our placement model offers maximum support for our learners with a balance of classroom based theoretical learning and the practical application of your knowledge in industry. Once commenced you will spend time each week both in the workplace and back in the classroom where our highly experienced trainers will de-brief with you and support you to develop strategies and adjust your practice in an ongoing way. They will also visit you in the workplace a number of times providing further training and assessment.
There is an interview process for entry into this course. At the interview you will have the opportunity to learn more about how the course is delivered and what you can expect from undertaking this qualification.
There are a maximum of 16 places per class. Find out if you are eligible for a government-subsidised place
