About the course
The Diploma of Project Management offers a hands-on, engaging, collaborative and practical approach to learning with an emphasis on solving real business problems by applying theory and case studies.
A combination of theoretical and practical learning tasks, activities and demonstrations will allow students to develop the confidence, mindset, practical skills and knowledge required to effectively manage all aspects of a project from start to finish. Students will be encouraged to use both critical and creative thinking techniques (design thinking) to solve many of the problems associated with managing a project across a range of industry settings.
This course is recommended for anyone currently in a project management role seeking to formalise their skills or those aspiring to a project management position. The course structure is a combination of class time, participation in community projects and independent learning. The course comprises 12 units in total, eight core units and four elective units.
The course will run for one day per week for 11 months. There are no pre-requisites for this qualification.
There is an interview process for entry into this course. At the interview you will have the opportunity to learn more about how the course is delivered and what you can expect from undertaking this qualification.
