Fee policy

This page relates to fees for our nationally-recognised qualification courses. Information on payments, concessions, course cancellations, alterations, withdrawals and other terms and conditions of enrolment for our short courses can be found here.

The fees for each of our nationally-recognised qualification courses are outlined in detail on the Course Fee Schedule (which can be found on the relevant course page).

There are four different fee categories for enrolments in our nationally-recognised qualifications:

  • Government-subsidised tuition fee

This fee applies if you:

- are enrolling in a course where government-subsidised training places are available, and

- meet citizenship/residency and age/up-skilling requirements, and

- are not a concession card holder.

See: Information about eligibility criteria for more information.

  • Concession tuition fee

This fee applies if you:

- are enrolling in a course where government-subsidised training places are available, and

- meet citizenship/residency and age/upskilling requirements, and

- hold a Commonwealth Health Care Card, Pensioner Concession Card or Veteran's Gold Card, or

- are a dependant of someone who holds a Commonwealth Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card.

Click here for more information about eligibility criteria.

  • Full tuition fee

This fee applies if you are not eligible for a government-subsidised place, or if there are no government-subsidised places available in the course you are enrolling in.

  • Full tuition fee (concession)

This fee applies if you are not eligible for a government-subsidised place (or if there are no government-subsidised places available in the course) and you are a holder of one of the above concession cards.

Other costs

Refer to our 'Fees, charges and refunds policy', and 'Schedule of Fees and Charges' under 'Related Information' at the bottom of this page for more information about other costs that may be associated with your enrolment.

Payment plans

Fees in our qualification courses are paid in a series of set instalments. Alternative payment plans can also be arranged on request.  To support access to courses, consideration is also given for people experiencing hardship. Ask for more information when enrolling.

Refund policy

If we cancel a course prior to commencement, all fees paid will be refunded in full.

If you are unable to commence your course, to be eligible for a refund of any fees you have paid you need to complete a Notice of Withdrawal form and return it to us at least one week before the advertised commencement date of the course.

If you return the Notice of Withdrawal to us within this timeframe, you are eligible to receive a refund of any tuition and amenities fees you have paid, less an administration fee (refer to the Schedule of fees and charges under 'Related Information' at the bottom of this page for the applicable withdrawal fee).

We will also refund fees paid for materials, except where materials have already been purchased by us on your behalf.  Materials already purchased will be supplied to you on request.

No refunds are available if a Notice of Withdrawal form is received less than one week prior to the advertised commencement date of the course.

If you withdraw part-way through your course, fees must be paid for the period up to the date we receive your Notice of Withdrawal.

A Statement of Attainment for any Unit of Competency successfully achieved will be issued once all outstanding fees relating to the applicable unit/s have been paid.

Refer to our Fees, charges and refunds policy under 'Related Information' below for more information about withdrawals and refunds.
