Conditions of Enrolment

By enrolling in a vocational qualification course with Living & Learning Nillumbik, you agree to a contract with us that includes the following Conditions of Enrolment:

  • Living & Learning Nillumbik reserves the right to accept or reject any application for enrolment at its discretion.

  • Living & Learning Nillumbik reserves the right to cancel any course prior to the commencement date of the course should it deem it necessary and in that event, will refund all payments received from the learner (see the Fees, charges and refunds policy).

  • Once a learner commences a course, Living & Learning Nillumbik will deliver the Training Program using competency-based training principles and practices in accordance with the AQTF (Australian Quality Training Framework).

  • The course fees payable to Living & Learning Nillumbik are for the provision of the following services:

    • Training and Assessment

    • Learning resources and materials

    • Ongoing administration processes

    • Learner support and/or referral to appropriate support services

    • Certification/Statement of Attainment

  • Training packages and nationally recognised qualifications are periodically updated to reflect changes to legislation and industry standards.  When a nationally recognised qualification is updated, the replacement version is published on the National Register (www.training.gov.au) and the previous version is superseded. Existing learners must be transitioned to the replacement version if they have not completed all of the requirements of the qualification within 12 months after the replacement version is published on the National Register.

Depending on the degree of equivalence between the superseded and replacement versions of the qualification, and the proportion of the course already completed by the learner, additional training, assessment, and fees may apply.  Learners have the option of exiting their course with a Statement of Attainment for any successfully completed units if they do not wish to transition to the new version of the qualification.
